The Government of Punjab has taken a major step toward digital transformation by launching hundreds of online services through the E-Biz Portal.
According to officials, 18 government departments are now offering 252 services online, making it easier for citizens and businesses to access government facilities without visiting offices.
📊 Rapid Progress in Digital Services
Officials shared that:
- 44,519 applications have been received so far
- 40,854 applications have already been approved through the digital system
This shows strong adoption of the new online system by citizens.
🚀 More Services Coming Soon
The government aims to add 48 more services by April 15, further expanding the portal’s functionality.
Additionally, services under the “Maryam Ki Dastak” program have also been integrated into the portal for better accessibility.
🔐 Transparent and Modern System
Authorities announced that NOCs and permits will now be issued with QR codes, ensuring transparency and reducing the chances of fraud.
Officials have also directed departments to:
- Fully digitize services in phases
- Gradually eliminate the traditional manual system
